Yoga and Sailing in La Maddalena Archipelago, Sardinia.
Yoga and sailing is the combination of two completely different disciplines that are very similar in their core principle: paying attention to the present moment.
Where is your boat going, how are the weather and sea conditions now?
Where is your yoga practice going, how are your mind and body conditions now?
Is yoga and sailing the right holiday for you?
Yes, if you like to experience yoga and sailing actively and recharge energies thanks to the wonderful mix of sea, sun, wind and yoga.
During this holiday we become a small team on our sailing boat: we cook, tidy up after meals and keep one’s own cabin and bathroom clean together. Relax time is guaranteed and don’t worry: big cleanings and final cleaning of the boat are done by the skipper and the yoga instructor.
Yoga and Sailing Tours 2018:
Is experience in yoga required?
No it is not. Alessandra tailors the program to the needs of the group. A yoga class usually starts with dynamic positions and continues with static and meditative exercises. By breathing exercises we get in tune with nature and the sea around us, in order to concentrate within ourselves. For those who are interested an evening meditation can be incorporated into the program.
Is experience in sailing required?
No it is not. If you are an experienced sailor we welcome you to join in with the running of the boat!
If you have zero to limited experience, Francesco is a great instructor who makes sure everyone interested learns the basics to steer the boat and set the sails properly.
